Toran / Pom-pom & Bell Door Hangings

These festive door torans are made using hand-rolled vibrant wool pom-poms, pearl bead clusters, and brass ghunghroo bells. Torans are traditionally used to represent celebration and prosperity and are generally used all throughout India to bring positivity to a home. In Mewari tradition, Toran making has been a communal activity between multiple women in rural households to decorate for festivals and events.
