Financial Literacy PROGRAMS

Our Financial Literacy Courses provide artisans at any stage in their career with resources to gain a foundation in finance for their entrepreneurial and personal work. Primarily, this program will allow women to take the ownership they deserve over their earnings.

Our financial support and courses are listed below and are offered at either a low cost or free of charge.

THE KALA ADVISOR PROGRAM

In The Kala Advisor Program, artisans and learners are matched to experts who have backgrounds in financial advising for non-profit companies and individuals. Support is provided in managing debt, build savings, and starting in investing. Programs are specialized for lower-income groups and are often in higher demand.

Financial Advisor Example: A Potential Financial Advisor.

GROUP SESSIONS

Our more affordable and accessible option, Kala Group Sessions offer groups of 12 or fewer guidance on how to manage the finances of a small business.

When you register, we will send you our upcoming group sessions for the next month.

KALA MISSION OF EQUITY

While our resources are open to all, we are committed to closing the gender wealth gap. This program is currently free to those who identify as women+ and low-income. Our goal is to provide artists with the specialized advocacy and mentorship needed to claim full ownership of their earnings, contracts, and futures. If you do not fit into this jurisdiction, we kindly ask for a small fee to further support this group.
