Meenakari Crystal Pendant Lamp

This pendant light represented various styles, some of which are borrowed from the brass lamp-making tradition in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu, a city known for its rich art history in paintings, ornaments, and sarees. This is a dome-shaped metal frame with each glass crystal hand-placed. These crystals are not added through adhesives; instead, they use a traditional setting technique that presses each stone and locks it with the surrounding metal casing, a skill that takes years to master.
