These hand-painted bamboo serving trays incorporate the Nimal lacquerware technique that uses layering hand-painted intricate mandala and floral motifs with lacquer to lock the design and promote its durability. Another special feature of this is that the brushes used are made from squirrel hair, and the paint is made from ancient mineral pigments.
